Dawg Zebra is a variation of Dog Zebra, which a material condition on US Navy vessels. Dawg Zebra Gunworks is a partnership between a former US Marine and a retired Navy SEAL. We changed “Dog” to “Dawg” and used a bull dog in our logo in honor of the US Marine Corps, and we used Dawg Zebra in honor of the SEALs US Navy roots.

In the evening when out to sea, Navy vessels set material condition “Dog Zebra” to darken ship. Sailors shut every hatch or fitting marked with a red Z in a black D to prevent light from escaping, therefore Dawg Zebra means lights out.

Our Dawg Zebra M4 comes standard with a 14.5″ Chrome Lined Barrel with Bayonet Lug, WMD NiB 2x Trigger, MatTech B.U.I.S. Rear Sight, Fostech 2500 Sabre Pistol Grip, Magpul CTR Stock, QD End Plate, and Magnetic Particle Inspected (MPI) Bolt.
